The Upcoming 2022 Nissan Qashqai: a refreshing redesign
The new 2022 Nissan Qashqai coming this fall will be more modern, more muscular and more spacious. Stay tuned for the latest news with Spinelli Nissan!

It is easy to see that 2022 will be a year of great changes for Nissan Canada. First were the new designs of the Pathfinder and Rogue, so it was inevitable that the 2022 Nissan Qashqai would also receive a facelift. With the release date of its 2022 model set for the fall of 2021 in Montreal and elsewhere in Quebec, the new silhouette of the compact Nissan SUV is now taller, longer and wider.

The Stylish 2022 Qashqai!

Modernized, more muscular, with a new V-shaped grille, slimmed down LED headlights, redesigned edges, new colours and maybe even two-tone designs as well as a choice of wheels up to 20 inches, the 2022 Qashqai promises to blow the competition away! The Japanese manufacturer is making big and daring changes in its design philosophy, and this new direction promises to place it at the top of the fierce SUV market.

But it's not just the exterior of this little Nissan truck that deserves applause: its interior also boasts a new look, a true masterpiece by its team of designers. With higher-quality materials, more intuitive controls, all-new ambient lighting, more legroom in the back, a new 9-inch high-resolution screen, Alexa and Google Assistant integration, a 12.3-inch digital display, as well as the 10.8-inch head-up display, the 2022 Nissan Qashqai is set to stack up medals and awards from the public and experts alike.

Between SUV and Masterpiece

On the other side of the Atlantic, the new Qashqai is powered by a 1.3 L turbo mild-hybrid engine. Here in Canada, the 141-horsepower, 2.0 L 4-cylinder engine remains more practical. What’s more, the new CMF-C platform promises a more playful and rigorous driving experience. Its new and improved suspension also delivers more precise steering and greater responsiveness. Among its safety features we expect to find the ProPILOT semi-autonomous driving system, among others.

Another interesting feature is that the trunk floor has been lowered slightly to increase the cargo space by about 50 L, while the rear doors open to 85 degrees to make boarding much easier.
